Service Description

A GP Rating (General Purpose Rating) is a 6-month pre-sea training course for aspiring merchant navy personnel, equipping them with the skills to work in both the deck and engine departments. It's a foundational program approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS). The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical training, preparing candidates for various roles on board ships.
