Service Description

The Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) course is a pre-sea training program for those seeking to work as licensed engineers in the engine department of merchant ships. The course focuses on providing the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all electrical and electronic equipment on board, including control systems and high voltage equipment. It's a 1-year program, typically consisting of 4 months of classroom-based training followed by 8 months of onboard training with a stipend.
